AGS is an international agro-trading company specialising in the purchase and export of agricultural crops and processed products.
The company hasbeen operating since 2016 and has been growing rapidly since then, becoming one of the significant market players. In 6 years we have come from scratch to a turnover of over 200,000 tonnes in 2023 and opened offices in UAE, Turkey, Tanzania.
This year we have already opened offices in India and China, doubled our trade turnover in the first 6 months compared to 2023 and are on track to target 800,000 tonnes in 2025.
You will advise the company management on the development of commercial strategy:
Analyze the current commercial strategy and its results
Predict new promising markets with P&L projects calculation
Predict options for optimizing the existing product portfolio and geography of the company's presence
Propose development directions to generate new margins
Develop pricing and commercial cost control strategies to maximize profitability
Develop measures to strengthen relationships with key customers and partners, strategies to increase customer loyalty, to ensure long-term, profitable contracts,
Propose options to improve the efficiency of the commercial team: organizational structure, roles, competencies
What we expect from you:
Experience in the role of commercial director for at least 5 years
Deep understanding of the agro trading market: grains, pulses, oilseeds
Experience in agro trading
Understanding of the Black Sea, African, Asian and Latin American markets
Proven track record of significantly increasing revenue and profitability in a commercial management role in the agri-trade industry
Proven track record of taking commercial operations to new levels of quality and efficiency
Strong strategic, analytical and negotiation skills
English language skills
Russian language is an advantage
