AGS is an international agro-trading company specialising in the purchase and export of agricultural crops and processed products.

The company has been operating since 2016 and has been growing rapidly since then, becoming one of the significant market players. In 6 years we have come from scratch to a turnover of over 200,000 tonnes in 2023 and opened offices in UAE, Turkey, Tanzania.

This year we have already opened offices in India and China, doubled our trade turnover in the first 6 months compared to 2023 and are on track to target 800,000 tonnes in 2025.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Responsible for the company's FEA (foreign economic activities) and logistics strategy in Russia, establishing direct relations with partners, managing agency networks.
  • Responsible for KPIs: deadlines, demurrage/dispatch and so on.
  • Manage the FEA, logistics and freight team.
  • Manage processes and control the execution of export transactions, document turnover, payments, interaction with buyers.
  • Provide contract administration: control over the fulfilment of contracts, document turnover, payments.
  • Develop and control internal logistics processes: work with partners, control of shipments and management of logistics processes, accounting of contract fulfilment, including shortages and demurrage.
  • Establish effective co-operation and work processes with logistics, foreign trade, legal and finance departments.
  • Establish effective interaction and work processes with Commerce, Legal and Finance.
  • Lead digitalisation, automation and process optimisation projects in part of the department's activities: CRM and trade flow management systems.


WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
  • Experience in logistics and FEA with agricultural or other commodities in a large company
  • Deep understanding of inland road and rail logistics, marine logistics and foreign economic activities
  • Experience in leading teams of 5 people or more and experience in taking commercial activities to a new level with multiple growth in volumes.
  • Experience of interaction with international colleagues
  • Knowledge of English at least at C1 level
